The work simultaneously documents and traces my spatial experience in the world. Since the first time my body came to know the secret of the deep waters— the sensation of being enveloped on all sides by an intense, dense substance, moving according to the rhythm of inner heartbeats and external currents beyond her control I have  inhabited a multidimensional space, almost weightless. From that moment of bodily knowledge of the deep waters, my life on land has became a life of longing. This work reveals the endless search for spaces that are intense, multidimensional, vast, complex, and unpredictable— both on land and in the depths. Spaces where the senses are sharpened, and the stimuli surrounding her demand absolute focus on the cosmic instant in which the inner world and the outer world enter into shared dialogue: the inner immensity (in Bachelard’s terms) with the outer immensity. There, in the zones where words run out of air, the infinite freedom of movement, consciousness, and renewed understanding of world and self opens up.
