CEASURA
The work traces the accidental movement of disintegration in built matter, around cracks and openings that appear in unplanned places. The term caesura refers to a cut between states or events that seem separated, but in fact generate a continuous flow: the passage from life in the womb to birth into the world, from sleep to wakefulness, from past to future. The silence between the beats of the heart. Caesuras are both points of rupture and points of connection along the axes of time and space. As such, they are unexpected openings, unplanned moments that become landmarks—places that simultaneously connect and divide two distinct realities that had existed side by side, like parallel dimensions, until the moment of fracture, when they slowly merged into one new atmosphere. Every opening is a gate. A passage that connects the world surrounding me with my inner world. There, a moment emerges that contains within it all times at once the possibility of endless dreaming, uncompromising excitement, and great hope.
